In our increasingly digital world, how do you see the disciplines of graphic design and product / industrial design merging? … The quick wins have more or less come together now … the lifecycle of discovery is shortening, the movement has become the trend …
What is important for you in graphic design? … Talking and writing are like movable light sources … balancing reason with intuition, insight and impulse … That’s a vague answer, but I have vague taste.
What are your personal future plans? … I was thinking just this morning that I’ve been accumulating a fairly ambitious to-do list over the last few years … artworks that just have a dimension to time that unfolds … I also have an image of myself retired in a quiet room for two years crafting a beautiful sans serif … Who am I to just decide I want to have a crack?
What does this project mean to you personally but also culturally? … By the time it’s reached the public I have moved on … on first reflection my culture is very plain … you can get away with never really having to stand up for yourself …
Serving one hundred per cent will involve a world design revolution … Livingry assumes a paradigm shift globally to a shared pursuit of humanity-centric design and technology solutions … But then again… I doubt it.
I don’t wanna have to shout it out
I don’t want my hair to fall out
I don’t wanna be filled with doubt
I don’t wanna be a good boy scout
I don’t wanna have to learn to count
I don’t wanna have the biggest amount I don’t wanna grow up
